SweetMeet Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 17.10.2026
These terms govern your use of the SweetMeet website and app, operated by [Company Name]. They explain what you can expect from SweetMeet as an online dating service, and what we expect from you.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using SweetMeet in any way, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or the app. Our Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies. Please read all three documents together.
Who can use SweetMeet
SweetMeet is for adults only. To use the service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
- Be legally able to enter into an agreement with us.
- Not be barred from using the service under applicable law or by a previous removal from SweetMeet.
Each person may hold only one account. People under 18 are not permitted to use SweetMeet. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will terminate it and delete the related data.
Your account and its security
You may need to register an account, either with your own details or through a social networking login. When you register, you agree to give accurate, current information and to keep it up to date.
Your account is personal. You may not transfer, lease or sell it to anyone else. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential, and for activity that takes place under your account. If you think someone else has accessed your account, change your password and contact us right away.
To help protect the community, we may ask you to complete verification steps, for example when we investigate suspected fraud, spam or ongoing misbehavior. Verification procedures are a safety tool only. SweetMeet does not state or promise that every member has been verified, and you should not assume that any person you talk to is who they say they are.
Profile content and accuracy
Your dating profile is how other people get to know you, so honesty matters. When you add content to SweetMeet, you agree that:
- Photos show you, and only you.
- The information you provide, such as your age, interests and what you are looking for, is truthful.
- You will not include phone numbers, social media handles or other contact details meant to move conversations away from SweetMeet and around its safety tools.
You keep ownership of the content you post. You give SweetMeet a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display and process that content solely to operate and improve the service. We may remove content that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe could harm others.
Respectful conduct and prohibited behavior
Good conversations depend on people treating each other with respect. Whether you are writing a first message or ending a chat, please be considerate. You must not use SweetMeet to:
- Harass, bully, stalk or intimidate anyone.
- Post hate speech or content that targets people for who they are.
- Make threats or encourage violence or self-harm.
- Send sexual content to anyone who has not agreed to receive it.
- Run scams, or ask other members for money, gifts or financial details.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent who you are.
- Send spam, chain messages or unrequested commercial offers.
- Promote or sell products or services to other members.
- Involve minors in any way, or share content that depicts them.
You also agree not to interfere with the service, attempt to access other accounts, or use automated tools to collect member information.
Likes, Matches and messaging
On SweetMeet, you can send a Like to a profile that interests you. If that person likes you back, the result is a Match, and a chat opens so the two of you can start talking. You decide whom you want to talk to, and you can choose who is able to contact you.
SweetMeet does not guarantee that you will receive Likes or Matches, that anyone will reply to your messages, or that any conversation will lead to a date or a relationship. Results depend on many things we do not control.
You are responsible for your own interactions with other members, including any decision to meet in person. Messages should follow the conduct rules in these terms.
Reporting, blocking and account suspension
If someone's behavior bothers you, you can block that person or report their profile from inside the app. Blocking ends contact with them. Reports are reviewed by our team, and the information you send helps us look into behavior that may break these terms.
If an account breaks these terms, we may take action that fits the situation. Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- Send a warning.
- Remove specific content.
- Restrict certain features.
- Suspend the account temporarily.
- Remove the account permanently.
We may act without advance notice where needed to protect other members or the service. We cannot promise that every report will lead to a particular outcome.
Getting help
If you have a question, a problem with your account or a safety concern, you can reach support through the app or by email at [email protected]. We will do our best to help, but we cannot promise a specific response time.
Optional paid features
SweetMeet may offer optional paid features from time to time. Any such features, along with their prices and terms, are shown in the app at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through the relevant app store or payment provider, and their terms apply to your purchase in addition to these terms. Please review that information before you buy.
Intellectual property
The SweetMeet name, logo, visual design, text and software belong to [Company Name] or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the service as intended. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer or create derivative works from any part of SweetMeet, except where the law expressly allows it.
Disclaimers and limits of liability
SweetMeet is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free, that you will find compatible people, or that any member will act honestly, respectfully or safely. We do not guarantee the identity, intentions or conduct of anyone you meet through the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, [Company Name] is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of SweetMeet, or for the actions of other members. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
A few practical reminders for staying comfortable:
- Meet in a public place for a first date, and tell a friend where you are going.
- Never send money, gift cards or financial details to someone you have met online.
- Take things at your own pace, and use blocking and reporting whenever you need to.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with a new date, and we will notify you in the app about material changes. If you keep using SweetMeet after an update takes effect, you accept the revised terms.
Ending your use of SweetMeet
You may delete your account at any time. We may end your access if you breach these terms or if we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will remain in effect, including those on intellectual property, disclaimers and limits of liability, and governing law. How we handle your personal data after your account ends is described in our Privacy Policy.
